Are Dead Sea Salt Products worth the price?

I truly love the Dead Sea Products.

I have tried numerous brands and numerous products and believe that they are worth a few dollars more for the awesome results.

Daily I use:
  1. Etre Dead Sea Minerals Foaming Face Wash - I use to have very break out prone skin that drove me crazy. I truly thought that once you "grew - up" that acne would no longer be a concern.....NOT - I was mid 30's and still in a daily battle to find a face wash or product line that would CONSISTENTLY keep my face clear. Not some overnight wonder that fixed a breakout but something mild and used daily that just kept my face clear and clean. I love this stuff and could not live without it. I have been TOTALLY breakout free for at least 2 years now.
  2. Deep Dead Sea Cosmetics Energizing Body Butter - I started using this body butter about 6 months and fell in love. I put it on when I get out of the shower and absolutely love both the soft fragrance and the non oily softness that stays with you for hours.
  3. Deep Dead Sea Cosmetics Hand Lotion Coral or Wave - I have a small baby and this lotion is always in the diaper bag. I use this on my hands and arms throughout the day and everytime I use it I am again surprised at how it feels so soft and silky. The fragrance is like a soft scented powder that lasts for hours.
I first saw the Dead Sea Products in the mall (as most people do), but was completely turned off by the pushy sales rep who resorted to snide remarks to attempt to make the sale. Now if I am walking through the mall I can quickly explain - "No Thanks - I buy all of my Dead Sea online".

Dead Sea 4 Sided Nail Buffers

I recently began using the greatest little gadget - This 4 sided dead sea nail buffer. I have always had such thin brittle - horrible looking nails. I started using using this buffer about 2 weeks ago and have the prettiest nails - which are growing very strong and long - with no additional chemicals. These come in many various names - There is Etre Beauty, Vivo Per Lei, Institute of Instant Beauty, Deep Sea Cosmetics, Swisa Beauty and I am sure that there are more - but these are the brands that I checked out. In my opinion the absolute best one was the Institute of Instant Beauty nail buffer and The Etre Natural Beauty Buffer.
I saw these at a Mall Kiosk and they wanted $21.95 for 1 - There is no way that I am paying $21.95 for 1 single nail buffer. I have the Etre Beauty Nail Buffers available for lots of 4 - at $15.99.

The Instructions for the buffers are as follows -

First remove any nail polish from nails. wash and dry your hands. always hold your buffer with fingers on the sides of the buffer. DO NOT WET OR GET OILS ON ANY SIDE OF THE BUFFER.

Side 1: Blue Diamond (Blue) Directions: Buff across top of nail for 10 seconds. to remove ridges and stains

Side 2: Grey Cotton (Grey) Directions: Buff across top of nail for 10 seconds. every 2 weeks for stimulation and growth.

Side 3: White Silk (White) Directions: Buff across nails, applying pressure until you achieve a glossy shine. If you don't get a glossy shine on nail, clean as follow

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Use polish remover with acetone on a cotton ball and wipe off residue on White side only.

1. Black - file along front edge of nail from corner to center, shaping nails

2. Cuticle oil - use one drop of oil daily on cuticles to prevent dryness and cracking.

3. Lotion - use lotion daily to revitalize skin.

Check them out - Even if you go to the Mall Kiosk and let them "test" it on you first - I am sure you will be amazed and shocked at the results. Beautiful shiny - salon looking nails - Not only do it yourself at home while a TV show runs - or at your desk at work - BUT also for a fraction of the crazy Mall Kiosk price.

Til' Next time I try one of these cool Dead Sea Beauty Products.....

Authentic Dead Sea Beauty Products

Authentic Dead Sea Beauty Products

The Dead Sea reflects something of the nature of this lake.
Known in the Bible as the 'Salt Sea' this inland body of water its high mineral content allows nothing to live in its waters.

The lowest Point on Earth.
The Dead Sea is located in the Syro-African Rift, a 4000-mile fault line in the earth's crust. The lowest point of dry land on earth is the shoreline of the Dead Sea at 1300 feet below sea level. That the lake is at the lowest point means that water does not drain from this lake. Daily 7 million tons of water evaporate but the minerals remain, causing the salt content to increase. Figures for the Dead Sea's salinity today range from 26-35%.

Mineral-Rich
Nearly ten times as salty as the world's oceans and twice as saline as the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the Dead Sea is rich with minerals. The Dead Sea Works company on the southwest side of the lake employs 1600 people around the clock to harvest the valuable minerals from the water. Potash is the most valuable of those extracted today and is used in the manufacture of fertilizer.

Healthy Water
The unique concentration of the Dead Sea waters has long been known to have medicinal value. Aristotle, Queen of Sheba, King Solomon and Cleopatra were all familiar with this and modern doctors as well often prescribe patients with skin ailments to soak in the waters of the Dead Sea.

Because of the dropping level of the Dead Sea, the southern end is no longer under water, except for that which is channeled by aqueducts for the purpose of extracting minerals.

Biblical Stage
The Dead Sea, unlike the Sea of Galilee to the north, does not figure prominently in the biblical narratives. Its most important role was as a barrier, blocking traffic to Judah from the east. An advancing army of Ammonites and Moabites apparently crossed a shallow part of the Dead Sea on their way to attack King Jehoshaphat (2 Chron 20). Ezekiel has prophesied that one day the Dead Sea will be fresh water and fishermen will spread their nets along the shore.

The beneficial effects of the Dead Sea Salts on the skin and their unique therapeutic and beautifying powers have been recognized since ancient times. The use of: Dead Sea salt at your home, is an effective way to relax and absorb the minerals of the Dead Sea. Research has proven the efficiency of the Dead Sea salt in alleviating skin diseases such as:

Skin
Psoriasis
Arthritic Disorders
Acne
A topic Dermatitis / Eczema
Cellulite o Hair Loss
Aging and skin problems

It is also highly beneficial for relieving muscle tension or for simply relaxing and enjoying a rejuvenating experience. There's nothing like a soak in a Dead Sea Salt bath. This practice was once related to high -end spas and expensive skin clinic, but now therapeutic salt baths are becoming common practice in homes all across America.

I TRULY BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF THE DEAD SEA PRODUCTS!

The Dead Sea is known to possess many health benefits ranging from helping people with chronic skin diseases like psoriasis, to cardio-vascular disease and lung disease. To appreciate these benefits most people make the Dead Sea their holiday destination to soak up the sun, sea, air and earth. For the rest of us, the benefits of the Dead Sea can be found in black mud, facial scrubs, mineral soaps, bath salts, masks, creams, lotions, serums, gels, and in a variety of other formats. The key is in the Dead Sea's high mineral concentration, which has been collected over thousands of years through a combination of rapid evaporation, sea water deposit and its unique geological structure. The black mud pools and the salt beds located at the Dead Sea are rich in minerals, containing high concentrations of essential trace elements such as potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium and up to 17 of other elements or minerals.

Modern science has proven that the minerals contained in the salt and mud of the Dead Sea stimulates circulation, enhances cell regeneration, improves skin tone and provides relief from skin, rheumatic, joint and inflammatory ailments.

Research has proven that the skin will only absorb substances it recognizes as similar components to its own cells. The rare minerals found in the Dead Sea happen to be an exact replica of the mineral composition of our own skin. In other words, your skin is able to absorb all of these nourishing minerals. Here at Swisa, we import these life-giving ingredients from thousands of miles across the ocean and hundreds of feet below sea level, directly from the Dead Sea itself. The salts and mud are then brought here in their unique raw and natural state, nothing added and nothing taken away. Finally, in our laboratory we combine a unique blend of Aloe, luxurious oils and anti-oxidant enriched ingredients to leave your skin healthier and more beautiful then you have ever felt it before.

From a skincare perspective, Potassium helps regulate the moisture level in the skin while Magnesium promotes healing. Sodium is an essential element for the body to function while calcium is essential for bones and muscle. The mineral mud soothes and softens the skin, promotes the natural shedding of the skin to deliver a radiant complexion and cleansing at the same time. The high concentrations of humic acid found in the mud have also been proven to be beneficial for soothing painful muscles, rheumatic conditions and arthritis. The minerals can be used in spas and baths to stimulate the immune system, which also deliver direct benefits to the respiratory systems and aid in conditions such as asthma.

Our use of Aloe as a primary ingredient in the majority of our health and beauty products remains untouched by any other comparable manufacturer. We have realized the importance of this ingredient as being one of Nature's best skin healing products on Earth. The decision to use Aloe as a base, instead of water in the majority of our products, furthers the vision to provide the very best product in the most unique way.
